WATCH: Police, Fire Give Gloucester Boy, 4, Parade For Birthday
A Gloucester Township family had a surprise planned for their 4-year-old boy's birthday, but it was cancelled due to coronavirus.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Gloucester Township resident got a parade from the police and fire departments for his fourth birthday. (Watch below).
Liam’s family had a surprise planned for him for his birthday, but the plans had to be cancelled due to the recent outbreak of new coronavirus.
Someone on social media suggested having a parade just for him for his birthday, and when Gloucester Township police found out Liam loves policemen and firemen, they knew they had to be involved.

Gloucester Township police, American Medical Response (AMR), Blackwood Fire Company and Virtua MICU Paramedics pulled together and had a special parade just for Liam.
They drove through his neighborhood with sirens on as an excited Liam and his family stood outside their home and waved to Liam’s heroes.

"We had hoped for maybe a fire truck to drive by or a cop car, but Gloucester Township Police,Blackwood Fire Company and the AMR Ambulances really surprised us," Liam's mother said in a Facebook post. "Thank you so much for driving by to surprise Liam on his special day. We are overwhelmed with gratitude."
