What Is The Average SAT Score At Black Horse Pike Schools?

A breakdown of SAT scores in the district's three high schools.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The average SAT scores among students in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District were average among students at all New Jersey public schools, according to statistics released recently by the state Department of Education. Patch compiled SAT scores in two sections that the state Department of Education identified as "math" and "reading and writing."

The following is the breakdown for each of the district's three high schools, including where each ranked among 387 public schools ranked on the list:

224. Highland Regional High School: Average: 1075; Math average: 538; Reading and Writing average: 537.

236. Timber Creek Regional High School: Average: 1061; Math average: 529; Reading and Writing average: 532.

266. Triton Regional High School: Average: 1028; Math average: 517; Reading and Writing average: 511

The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2016-17 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.

These reports are designed to inform parents, educators and communities about how well a school is performing and preparing its students for college and careers, according to the DOE.
