Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Gloucester Twp. During $1.58B Mega Millions Drawing

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The largest jackpot in Mega Millions history went to a lottery participant in Florida. But a ticket from Gloucester Township still generated significant winnings in Tuesday's drawing.

A ticket sold at Royal Farms (1409 Blackwood Clementon Rd.) generated $10,000 in the contest. The ticket matched four of five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball for a third-tier prize.

The winning numbers were 13, 19, 20, 32 and 33. The Gold Mega Ball was 14, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

Participants had 1 in 302.6 million odds of winning Tuesday's jackpot. The winner can opt for an annuity doled out over 30 years. But most lottery winners choose the lump-sum option — Tuesday's jackpot had an estimated cash prize of $783.3 million. Additionally, lottery winnings are subject to federal taxes, while many states also tax winnings.
