Woman Killed After Hitting Disabled Vehicle In Camden Co.: Police
Her SUV overturned after sideswiping a vehicle that was on the shoulder, authorities said.
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman was killed after her SUV hit a disabled vehicle and overturned Sunday night on the Atlantic City Expressway, officials said.
Troopers responded to the crash at 10:32 p.m. in Winslow Township. A Nissan SUV was traveling westbound and sideswiped a disabled and unoccupied Honda passenger vehicle on the right shoulder, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
The Nissan then overturned, ejecting the driver — identified as Ashley Pitts — Lebron said. Pitts, 37, of Camden, sustained fatal injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, and police had no additional information available.
