Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Gloucester Township: Police
A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on College Drive in Gloucester Township Friday night.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Gloucester Township Friday night, police said. Police are asking for the public’s help to find the driver.
She was walking on the 2000 block of College Drive when she was hit just before 7:30 p.m. Friday night, police said. The victim was unconscious and not breathing, and suffering life-threatening injuries when police arrived.
First responders on the scene began rendering aid, but their efforts failed. She was pronounced deceased on the scene, police said. Investigators interviewed several witnesses and obtained surveillance video from the crash, police said.

An officer checking surrounding neighborhoods found an unoccupied vehicle fit the description and appeared to have been involved in a crash. However, police didn’t find a driver, and his identity remains unknown.
The victim wasn’t identified by police. College Drive was closed for about two hours during the initial investigation of the crash.
