NJ Woman Who Went Missing After Traveling Abroad Has Been Found: Police

The woman, who was reported missing in October, was located in good health, according to Gloucester Township police.

Update: A woman who went missing after traveling to Guyana was found on Friday afternoon, according to Gloucester Township police.

Law enforcement agencies confirmed that Mary A. Jones is in good health, the police department said.

Police didn't disclose where she was found.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township police are investigating a woman's disappearance after she traveled to Guyana several months ago and never returned.

Mary A. Jones, 69, was reported missing Oct. 28. Family members last heard from her on Oct. 3, police said.

Investigators determined that Jones traveled to Guyana and was expected to return home last week. She didn't return from the South American nation as scheduled, and her whereabouts remains unknown, police said Tuesday.

Police described her as "endangered."
