2 Big Truck Crashes Snarl I-80 For Miles

Two big trucks overturned and jack-knifed on a New Jersey highway Friday, snarling traffic for miles, authorities said.

A dump truck overturned on I-80 eastbound around 6:30 a.m., east of the Allamuchy Rest Area, in Allamuchy. The left lane was closed.

As of 7:05am, there was a fuel spill and a jack-knifed tractor trailer on I-80 westbound east of Exit 57 and Route 19 in Paterson. The right and center lanes were closed.

Both accidents were causing delays of up to an hour. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
