2 Open Bottles Of Vodka Found In Car: Hackettstown Police

The man was charged with driving while intoxicated.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ— Police found two open bottles of vodka in a Warren County man's car after pulling him over for a traffic violation, Hackettstown Police said.

Police pulled the car over on Route 46 for a traffic violation, at 9:19 p.m. on Tuesday. When talking to the driver, Brian Reynolds, 30, of Independence Township, the officer smelled alcohol, according to the report.

An investigation found an open bottle of Svedka and an open bottle of Smirnoff vodka in the car.

Police arrested and charged Reynolds with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, maintenance of lamps and possession of an open container of alcohol. He was released with a pending court date.
