82 Year Old Charged With Drinking In Public: Hackettstown Police
The man was allegedly drinking directly from a bottle of pink moscato, police said.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ— An 82-year-old man was charged with drinking in public outside of a liquor store, Hackettstown Police said.
Police said they saw the man uncork a wine bottle inside of his pickup truck while parked outside of a ShopRite Wines & Spirits store. The man allegedly took a "long sip" out of the bottle.
When they approached him, they found a 1.5 liter bottle of pink moscato on the floor by his leg.

He was charged with public consumption of alcohol and released with an upcoming court date.
