(tapinto.net) — Hackettstown residents can catch Hackettstown High School’s production of the musical Oliver! this week, with multiple evening and matinee performances on campus. Students, seniors, and local school staff get discounted tickets, making it easy for families to support hometown talent, enjoy classic songs like “Consider Yourself,” and see months of rehearsal and set-building pay off on stage.    

• Woman, 60, charged with DWI, failing to yield to police in Mount Olive (wrnjradio.com) — A 60-year-old Hackettstown resident faces DWI and several traffic-related charges after Mount Olive police say she failed to maintain her lane on Route 46 and did not immediately pull over. Officers reported signs of impairment, conducted field sobriety testing, and later released her to a sober driver pending a court appearance.    

• Netcong NJ man gets 42 years for killing Amanda Pulver and dog (wearenewjersey.com) — A young woman who graduated from Hackettstown High School in 2021 was killed in a 2024 shooting at her family’s Independence Township home, and the shooter has now been sentenced to 42 years in prison. Prosecutors say 36-year-old Anthony Garvin pleaded guilty to murdering 21-year-old Amanda Pulver and fatally shooting her puppy, while friends and family remember her for her kindness and infectious smile.
