WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Four people have been arrested following a shootout in Warren County, according to officials.
On June 20, police were called to the area of Prospect Street and Beacon Street in Upper Stewartsville in Greenwich Township on reports of shots fired.
Police determined that a "physical altercation involving multiple individuals escalated," leading to at least one gunshot being fired.
Following an investigation, Janelle Strickland, John Hopkins, Earl Deemer, and Quadir Gray were all charged with varying complaints.
On Wednesday, Deemer turned himself in to Greenwich police, and the US Marshal’s Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task
Force located and arrested Gray in Newark.
Both were taken to the Warren County Correctional Center to await court proceedings.
Gray, 23, of Newark, is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and aggravated assault.
Deemer, 34, of Phillipsburg, is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and certain persons not to possess a weapon.
Strickland, 21, of Stewardsville, is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.
Hopkins, 26, of Phillipsburg, is charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.
