HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Town of Hackettstown is advising residents and motorists of temporary road closures and parking restrictions on Sunday, July 19, for the Hackettstown Street Fair and World Soccer Final celebration.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with road closures in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Roads affected include Main Street (Route 46) between Liberty Street and East Plane Street, portions of West and East Moore streets, Valentine Street, High Street (Route 517), Grand Avenue and West Plane Street.
Police officers will be stationed throughout the event to direct traffic, assist motorists and help ensure public safety.
Parking will be prohibited along portions of Main Street, West Moore Street, East Moore Street and Valentine Street. Officials said vehicles parked in posted no-parking zones will be ticketed and towed.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time while traveling through the downtown area.
