WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A Warren County boy is in critical condition after a drowning incident in a pool, officials say.
On Thursday, around 7 p.m, police were called to Reese Avenue in Hackettstown on reports of a three-year-old boy who drowned.
Authorities arrived to find the boy surrounded by several adults. Witnesses told police that the boy had been given CPR before authorities arrived.
He was breathing, but unresponsive, police added.
Authorities rushed the boy to Hatchery Hill School, where a landing zone was established. The three-year-old was medevacked by helicopter to Morristown Medical Center for further treatment.
Police said the boy was in stable but critical condition as of Friday morning.
