HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A trip to the Motor Vehicle Commission is getting closer to home for Hackettstown residents.
The NJ MVC Mobile Unit will visit the Miller Street Firehouse, 101 Miller Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, September 14.
The traveling office can handle REAL ID applications, registration renewals, e-bike registrations, initial permits, non-driver identification cards and duplicate or replacement titles and registrations.
Appointments are required for select services and can be scheduled through the state's mobile unit portal. Anyone making appointments must reserve a separate slot for each person, and duplicate bookings will be canceled.
The state advises customers to check their email or text messages before leaving because circumstances beyond the MVC's control could force the event to be canceled.
