HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Families getting excited for Halloween in Hackettstown can start planning ahead now that the town has announced this year's trick-or-treating hours.
The town announced Saturday that its trick-or-treat hours will run from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.
The notice, posted Sept. 12, gives residents a five-hour window for trick-or-treating throughout Hackettstown on Halloween.
Town officials did not include additional Halloween events or activities in the announcement.
"Get your costumes ready!" the town said in its announcement, adding, "Have a fun and safe Halloween!"
The announcement gives Hackettstown families several weeks to make their plans before Oct. 31.
