WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A fiery tractor-trailer crash prompted traffic closures and first aid responses in Warren County this morning, according to officials.
Around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, authorities were called to Route 80 Westbound in the area of mile marker 18.6 on reports of a rolled-over tractor-trailer that had caught fire.
Officials were able to extinguish the fire in the tractor-trailer's cab and stop a "significant" fuel spill, authorities said.
Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad provided treatment to an unspecified number of injured people, officials added.
Hazmat was also called to the scene to help with fuel cleanup, according to authorities.
The crash shut down I-80 westbound near exit 19 as fire crews assist the tow companies with clearing the truck and debris.
The Allamuchy Fire Department has not issued an update since 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.
