Apartment Destroyed In Late Night Fire: Hackettstown Police
Two adults and two children were displaced from the home.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — An apartment was destroyed in a late night fire on Tuesday, the Hackettstown police department said.
Hackettstown first responders were called to the second floor apartment at 312 Church Street for a report of smoke coming from an electrical outlet. When they arrived, the apartment was fully engulfed in flames.
Residents had already evacuated when first responders arrived at 11:41 p.m., and no one was injured. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it does not appear to be intentionally set, police said.

Two adults and two children were displaced from the apartment. The American Red Cross was assisting the family, police said.
Hackettstown Fire Police, Tri-County Fire Company, Independence Twp. Fire Department, Washington Boro Fire Department, Budd Lake Fire Department and the Hackettstown Department of Public Works assisted at the scene.
