Bar Knife Fight Ends In Arrest: Hackettstown Police

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A 22-year-old woman was arrested after a knife fight at Bea McNally's bar in Hackettstown, police said.

Alana Mitchell, of Succasunna, faces aggravated assault and weapons charges following the early morning fight on Friday. According to police, Mitchell was involved in a fight with a group of women outside the bar following last call. During the argument, Mitchell allegedly got a six-inch folding knife out of her car and began swinging it in the crowd.

She was tackled and had the knife grabbed away from her by another person, police said. She was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center, and then taken to the Warren County Correctional Facility.
