HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Pour one out for making it to work on time: a shattered case of beer snarled traffic on Route 57 in Hackettstown this morning.
The case of beer (Stella Artois Cidre, for those who were wondering) shattered on the busy road during the morning commute. The Department of Public Works quickly cleaned up the spilled beer, and the commute continued as normal.
Hackettstown police had some bad news for the beers owner, writing, "If you are the owner, we regret to inform you none of the long necks will make it to happy hour."
