Crews from Union Township in Hunterdon County had been searching Spruce Run Reservoir for a person missing since Monday, but there is no official information yet on the person’s identity, according to News12.

The man was inside a boat that apparently overturned, sparking a search which was called off at nightfall on Monday and resumed Tuesday morning at 8 a.m., nj.com reported.

Searchers used a side scan sonar device attached to a rescue boat and did not immediately have a location of where the body was found.

The man was found after the body of a Toms River man was found in Round Valley Reservoir early Monday morning, hours after he was reported missing, an official confirmed Tuesday.

Koon Fung, 71, of Toms River, was found dead after a search of the reservoir by New Jersey State Police and State Park police, according to Bob Considine, spokesman for the state Department of Environmental Protection.
