BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN OVERSIGHT AND INSPIRATION
This grant-funded program is designed for managers and supervisors to effectively supervise their team members. If you work for a NJ-based business or non-profit organization part-time or full-time, you are eligible to attend for free.
It is important to the manager/supervisor and the organization that thorough knowledge of the difference between being a leader and being a manager be acquired.
This program provides a clear understanding of the expectations and responsibilities of a manager/supervisor leader in current organizational operations.
Discussions include an in-depth look at the material that managers and supervisors should be exposed to in order to develop and enhance their leadership skills.
Topics of discussion include defining “leadership” and “management,” the necessary skills for both, leadership styles, sources of power, empowerment, and employee motivation.
Register online. If you have a question about attending, contact Dawn Smith at WCCC's Phillipsburg Education Center located at 445 Marshal St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 at 908-835-4029 or dsmith@warren.edu.
