Centenary sent out a request for proposals and interviewed finalists for the best fit for the colleges shortly after. The physical construction of the solar panel systems began in May 2012 and was completed in August.
Centenary made a power purchase agreement with Dynamic Solar, meaning the school buys whatever electric is produced from the installed systems, with the company selling the electric back to the school at a discounted rate. The project was privately financed through Dynamic Solar.
