HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - With the encroaching novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, in New Jersey the Hackettstown Police Department are asking that residents call, rather than stop by the station.

"In order to the protect citizens and the Hackettstown Police Department, we are requesting that any/all general police inquiries, for example lost property and fraud/bad check complaints, be made via phone and not in person," police said in a statement. "Should you need to file a report, Hackettstown Police Department is requesting you call 908-852-3302."

Residents should cal during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.. Those calling after hours should call the Warren County Dispatch Center at 908-852-3300.
