FREE Bone Density Screenings

Village Family Clinic, a Multi-Disciplinary Health Center, will be holding open Bone Density Screenings

Hackettstown, NJ (July 18th, 2017) – Village Family Clinic, a Multi-Disciplinary Health Center, will be holding open Bone Density Screenings at 1500 Route 517, Hackettstown NJ 07840. They will be held on Tuesday July 25th, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend, must be 18 years and older to participate in the Bone Density Screening.

Village Family Clinic’s Bone Density Screening will give you a comprehensive analysis including your T SCORE which compares your bone density to the average bone density that is expected for a healthy, young person. It can be used to determine fracture risk, and your Z-score which compares your bone density to the average bone density that is expected for a person your age. This score can help to determine whether factors other than aging are causing bone loss. Both scores are essential in determining on set of OSTEOPENIA and OSTEOPOROSIS. Village Family Clinic’s Director Dr. James Fedich said, “Osteoporosis is a huge problem in the US,

Weak bones decrease the ability to do daily activities such as spending time with your family, golf, exercise and even doing laundry. A low bone density score can greater your chances for broken such as hip fractures, can cause disability and ongoing pain. When you visit us for a screening you will get an explanation of your screening to better understand your score.”
