Hackettstown Declares 'Snow Emergency' Monday Night

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - As the area braces for another round of winter weather Hackettstown has preemptively called a "Snow Emergency beginning 11 p.m. Monday night.

According to officials, there is no parking allowed on any streets in the Town of Hackettstown, except the municipal lots. Officials are advising that anyone that has a vehicle on a town street to remove it. Vehicles must remain off the streets until the snow emergency has been lifted.

When the snow emergency has been lifted it will be sent out via Nixle Alerts (people can get the alerts by texting “07840” to “888-777” or sign up by going to www.nixle.com), posted on facebook.com/hackettstownpd, twitter.com/hackettstownpd, hackettstown.net and media outlets will be notified, officials said.
