Hackettstown Eagerly Prepares for 8th Annual St. Patrick's Parade

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District is bringing the 8th Annual St. Patrick's Parade to town, Sunday, March 13 at 3:30pm

Hackettstown, NJ - Parade Weekend kicked off with a gala reception to honor this year’s Grand Marshal, Bill Burke at David’s Country Inn. The reception dinner featured live music and a dance performance by Slattery School of Irish Dance.

Grand Marshal Bill Burke will lead the 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade, including over 80 participanting groups. Enjoy the sounds and experience of Rory O’Moore Pipes and Drums, Rampant Lion Pipe Band, to local favorites Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers, Hackettstown High School Tiger Marching Band, and performers from Slattery Irish Dance School, and Heritage Irish Dance Company. Local businesses, services, volunteer and community groups have also signed up to be part of this highly anticipated celebration.

Hackettstown and surrounding elementary students were invited to take part in a coloring contest, with winners of the coloring contest marching in the parade. Pets are welcome participants, and can take part in a St. Patrick’s-themed costume contest. Pets and owners walk together in their own section. Additionally, there will be an Irish themed parade float contest, trophy to be awarded for best design.
