HACKETTSTOWN – Hackettstown High School and the middle school were placed in a lockdown yesterday afternoon after police received a call about a person running through yards armed with a handgun, police said.At 1:44 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a call at the Washington Street area. The two schools were put on lockdown since they're both nearby.Police located the individual, who had in his possession an air soft handgun, police said.
