Hackettstown Man Accused of Illegal Dumping in State Park, DEP Says

Statewide crackdown has charged four men in separate incidents, DEP says.

A Hackettstown man was arrested and charged by the State Park Police during an ongoing crackdown to stop illegal dumping in conservation areas, according to the Department of Environmental Protection.

Saleh Naser, 48, has been charged with illegal dumping of solid waste and household debris at two separate locations on Waterloo Road in Mt. Olive, inside the Allamuchy State Park, according to the DEP.

If convicted, Naser faces a minimum fine of $5,000 for the two incidents.

Naser is one of four New Jersey men to be charged during the “Don’t Waste Our Space” campaign, which is ongoing and enforced by State Park Police, Conservation Officers, and the DEP’s Compliance and Enforcement teams.
