Hackettstown Man Sexually Assaulted Young Child: Prosecutor

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hackettstown man is accused of sexually assaulting a child he knew, Warren County Prosecutor Richard T. Burke said.

Luis E. Leonardo-Enriquez, 28, from Hackettstown, was arrested last week and charged with three counts of sexual assault, sexual assault by contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. If found guilty, he could face life in prison.

According to Burke, Leonardo-Enriquez "committed multiple acts of sexual contact including sexual contact" against a child who is under 13 years old. Leonardo-Enriquez knew the child.

Leonardo-Enriquez is lodged at the Warren County Correctional Center.
