Hackettstown Man Threw A Chair At Police Officers: Police
A second man was arrested after attempting to "get into the officer's faces," police said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hackettstown man was charged with aggravated assault after he threw a chair at an office, Hackettstown police said in a statement.
Police responded to a fight around 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the middle of Valentine Street. As police were investigating, Ronald Mulford, 45, of Hackettstown, "began to approach the officers in an aggressive manner and threatened to fight," police said.
Mulford allegedly grabbed a chair and swung it at officers, "letting the chair fly from his hands," police said.

A second man, Randie Banghart, 19, of Hackettstown, was attempting to fight multiple people at the residence, and attempted to "get into the police officers faces" while drunk, police said.
Mulford was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and failure to allow fingerprinting. He was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.

Banghart was charged with disorderly conduct and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released with a pending court date.
