Hackettstown Man Wanted by State Police Turns Self In, Cops Say

Justin Johnson entered Hackettstown Police Department at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, police report.

A Hackettstown man wanted by the New Jersey State Police and Warren County Prosecutor’s Office for multiple alleged offenses turned himself in during the early morning hours of Thursday, Sept. 3, Hackettstown Police said.

Justin Johnson, 35, turned himself over to the Hackettstown Police Department at 2:10 a.m., Sgt. Darren Tynan said.

New Jersey State Police released a statement on Aug. 25 asking for the public’s help in locating Johnson, who was wanted on two warrants. The first warrant was for “harassing communication,” Tynan said, and the second was for violating a final restraining order.

Johnson was turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and then transported to the New Jersey State Police Hope Barracks.
