Atlantic Health System’s Hackettstown Medical Center recently awarded community health grants to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice and Northwest NJ Community Action Program (NORWESCAP) for meeting the health needs of the community.

The Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice grant will allow expansion of counseling services in Hackettstown, targeting people who have suffered a loss by death.

The Northwest NJ Community Action Program (NORWESCAP) grant will assist in the launch of a new initiative - Starting Healthy - which targets young children and families, to educate children about healthy eating habits and establishing proper nutrition at an early age.
