Hackettstown Officials To Be Sworn In Tuesday
Annual reorganization meeting will be held at 1 p.m. at the high school.

The annual Hackettstown reorganization meeting is set for Tuesday, Jan. 1 at Hackettstown High School, and all residents are encouraged to attend.
At the meeting, reelected councilpersons William Conforti and Scott Sheldon will take the oath of office and begin their new three-year terms. The council is made up of Jerry DiMaio, Jr., Leonard Kunz, John Stout, Eric Tynan, Conforti, Sheldon, and Mayor Maria DiGiovanni.
Members of the fire department will also be appointed to their leadership positions, with Charles S. Tillou resuming his position as chief, and James Taylor acting as deputy fire chief.

The mayor will also appoint and confirm town employee positions, including auditor, planner, prosecutor, and bond counsel.
The meeting begins at 1 p.m. at the high school. The next regular meeting of the mayor and council is scheduled for Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building.
