Two Board Members Wanted And One Part-Time Job Open With Hackettstown Parking Authority

The Hackettstown Parking Authority is hiring a part-time employee and is looking for two members to become a part of its board.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Town of Hackettstown is seeking two new board members for its Parking Authority, as well as to hire a part-time treasurer and secretary.

To become a member of the Parking Authority Board, prospective members are required to live in Hackettstown or be a business owner in town. Board meetings take place the first Monday of every month. Those who would like to participate on the board should email administration@hackettstown.net.

For the role of part-time Parking Authority Treasurer/Secretary, that person will be expected to: handle payroll for employees, prepare monthly reports as well as taxes, handle accounts payable and receivables, work on the yearly budget, distribute parking permits, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, handle secretarial aspects of the job and supervise meter employees, among their duties.

The part-time treasurer/secretary has a starting wage of $18 per hour, with a 15 hour per week commitment.
