Hackettstown Police Department Hosts Autumn Food Drive

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Hackettstown Police Department is hosting an Autumn Food Drive to collect donations for the Trinity United Methodist Church Lord's Pantry, which feeds about 800 families per month and even more over the holidays. The drive will take place Oct. 22 to Nov. 5.

Residents are asked to donate canned vegetables, pasta, canned meat, pasta sauces, instant potatoes, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, canned fruit, soup, stuffing, muffin mixes, juice, gravy and cranberry sauce.

There's a dire need for turkey this year, and residents who can donate a turkey are asked to contact the Police Department.

There will be two drop off locations at Hackettstown Police Station at 215 Stiger St Hackettstown, and Mansfield Police Station at 100 Port Murray Rd Port Murray.
