Hackettstown Police Want Help Solving Property Theft
Several items were taken from the yard of a home, and authorities have video.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - The Hackettstown Police Department is currently investigating the theft of decorative items from a front porch of a residence and is asking for the public's help to find those responsible.
According to police, the theft occurred at 1 a.m. Thursday on a home at the corner of West Prospect Street and Main Street. A yellow watering can, a brown house figurine and a red/grey metal decorative wheel barrel containing a yellow potted plant were stolen with an approximate value of $75, police said.
Police noted the suspect left in a white Mazda CX-5 or similar model, seen below in this video:

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Hackettstown Police Department at 908-852-3302, 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777 and in the message part you must first type “TIP HACKPD” then type your tip.
