Hackettstown Prepares For School Reopening: Share In Our Survey

Patch wants to hear your thoughts on school reopening.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - Although the plans are still not final, the Hackettstown School District District is working to figure out what school could look like this fall amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

We want to know what you think: Should NJ schools reopen for in-person learning this fall amid the coronavirus outbreak? Take Patch's survey and share your thoughts.

To that end they sent a survey out into the community and here are some highlights:

  • 84.2 percent of respondents plan on sending their children back to school in September
  • 85.9 percent of respondents want staff members doing temperature checks of children
  • 65.8 percent of Willow Grove and Hatchery parents will not utilize busing

The complete survey results, including hypothetical hybrid options including half days and cohorts can be found on the district website.
