HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hackettstown woman has been arrested and charged following a drunk driving crash back in March, police said on Wednesday. Iwona Jaworski, 50, faces a slew of charges including assault by auto while operating under the influence, operating under the influence of liquor or drugs and reckless driving in connection with the head-on collision on Willow Grove Street on March 31. Jaworski was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of Willow Grove Street when her vehicle struck another vehicle head-on. Officers eported detecting a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Jaworski and observed signs consistent with impairment. Jaworski was transported to Morristown Medical Center after the crash.
