Horizons in Nature - Art & Poetry Exhibition

Ridge and Valley Conservancy celebrates their efforts of the past 25th years with a retrospective Art & Poetry Show at the Vass Barn

On June 4, supporters of the Ridge and Valley Conservancy will gather to honor the efforts of the past 25 years and focus on the future with a retrospective Art & Poetry Show. The event will take place at the Vass House Barn, set on the historic Vass Farmstead in Hardwick, NJ, from 3:00-6:00 PM.

Art students from surrounding colleges and schools will join with established artists and poets to present readings and share their visions of the area’s natural environment. Included in the program will be award-winning poet, Robert Carnevale, and nationally known photographer, Douglas Peterson. Local artists and writers will round out the exhibit along with work from Paulinskill River Photography and student work.

Bob Canace, president of Ridge and Valley Conservancy says: “We felt it was appropriate to look forward to the next 25 years by appreciating what’s been accomplished so far. A retrospective art show that recognized established work alongside new visions, just felt right.”
