Knights of Columbus Long Valley Barbecue with Veterans

Knights of Columbus Council #10419 of Long Valley hosted a barbecue cookout at the Lyons Veterans Hospital as a special tribute to our veterans who proudly served our country. Volunteers set up, cooked and served a full barbecue menu with delicious desserts.

The Knights were able to share the meal with our veterans, celebrating the joys and blessings of life while expressing our gratitude for their sacrifices.

Bobby Scanga of the Knights of Columbus summarized the event stating “It’s a true honor to spend this time with those who made such sacrifices for our freedom. The camaraderie we enjoy here is the highlight of my Fourth of July Celebration.”
