Line Cutter Complaints Land One Man In Handcuffs: Hackettstown Police
The man complaining had a $16,000 warrant for his arrest, Hackettstown Police said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ— One man's loud complaints about line cutters at a convenience store landed him in handcuffs after he lied to police, and they found a $16,000 arrest warrant for him, Hackettstown Police said.
Patrick Hammond, 32, of Somerville, was arrested at the Route 182 Quick Chek in Hackettstown Saturday night. Hammond was allegedly arguing with another customer outside the store after he became frustrated over being cut in line.
Police officers were called to the store in response to a report of a disorderly person. When police asked for his name, Hammond allegedly gave multiple false names, birth dates and social security numbers.

Police said Hammond had a wanted persons warrant out of Warren County for failing to pay $16,595.85 in child support.

harassment, disorderly conduct and hindering. He was turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
