While the area has been surviving the destruction from Hurricane Sandy and digging out from Nor'easter Athena, not a lot of focus has been put on the area's schools and sports.
But two of the area's best teams are about to face off Friday Night on cable television for the tri-state area to see, as the Roxbury High School Gaels and Mt. Olive High School Marauders square off under the lights.
The game will be televised on Friday Night Football Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. on MSG Varsity, Cablevision's 24/7 HD network, dedicated to all things high school.
