Mars Chocolate Hiring Nationwide As It Ramps Up American Manufacturing

The Hackettstown-based company, best known for making M&Ms, is hiring a dozen new employees in New Jersey as part of a national push.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Mars Chocolate North America, best known for making M&Ms, Snickers and Starburst, have announced a nationwide hiring push as is aims to make more products in America.

The company is looking to add 250 employees across the county, including a dozen in New Jersey. It's part of a $70 million reinvestment in their American manufacturing plants, the company said in a press release.

“Mars believes in the value of keeping our operations in America – it’s good for our people, our business and our consumers,” said Tracey Massey, President, Mars Chocolate North America. “This investment will create new American jobs in communities across the country while also enabling us to offer more product innovation, choice and transparency to our consumers.”
