Come and enjoy the beautiful outdoor venue of Vasa Park's shaded Picnic Grove and delight in the Traditional Celebration of Scandinavian "Midsommar" and Swedish Children's Day, "Barnensdag."

This is a wonderful family-friendly event...  Help decorate, raise, and dance around the Maypole.  See beautiful hand-made costumes from all over Scandinavia during our Skansen Children's Club and Vasastjarnan Junior Clubs' Folk Dance Performances.  Make a Flower wreath for your hair.  Listen and dance to Jeanne Eriksson Andersen's famous accordion band, "Smorgasbandet" under the covered Pavilion.

Visit the Marketplace and shop for Scandinavian Arts, Crafts, Jewelry, Baked Goods, Imported Foods/Cheeses, and more!  Enjoy a leisurely lunch at our Food Court and sample Scandinavian Delicacies prepared by the talented cooks of our Vasa Lodges.

A Dinner & Dance (additional cost) will be held in Viking Hall at 5pm.
