Missing NJ Woman Found Dead In Woods, Police Say
The body of a New Jersey woman has been found in the woods, police say.

NEW JERSEY – The body of a missing New Jersey woman has been found in the woods, police announced on Monday.
Mary Murphy, 54, was found in a heavily wooded area in Warren County, Blairstown police said.
Murphy was last seen in the Beechwood Lane area in Blairstown on Dec. 14 at 10 a.m., police said. She was 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

"We send our condolences and prayers to Mary's family and friends," police said. "Thank you to everyone who assisted to bring closure to the family."
Reports had been issued regarding Murphy's disappearance for more than a week, police said, and the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said it was going to investigate "every possible lead and possible sightings."

Many resources were utilized including the Blairstown OEM, Blairstown Ambulance Corps, the State Police, North Star helicopter, Warren County Public Safety and the Blairstown CERT Team.
