Missing NJ Woman's Remains Found In MD, Cops Say

WARREN COUNTY, NJ — The skeletal remains of a Warren County woman whose been missing for more than a month have been found in Maryland, police say.

The remains of Kimberly Gordon, 46, of Lopatcong, were found on July 17 in a creek bed near Route 702 and Interstate 695 in Baltimore County, officials said. Authorities confirmed the remains were Gordon's on Thursday.

Gordon was reported missing on June 21 after she was last seen near a Sky Zone in Rosedale, Maryland.

Investigators said she was driving a white 2024 Hyundai Elantra displaying a wide-load sign and stickers bearing her name and phone number on the side windows.

Police think she crashed the car and may have suffered a head injury. Gordon's car was found soon after she was reported missing, but her body wasn't found until nearly a month later.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is still working to determine a cause and manner of death.
