Missing Tuber's Body Found in Delaware River

The body of a New York man was found late Sunday after he was reported missing in the Delaware River late in the day Saturday during a tubing trip, New Jersey State Police said.

Christopher Lawrence, 22, of New York, was found dead after a daylong search, police said. Lawrence was not wearing a life jacket and was on a summer trip with a group of other tubers, nj.com reported.

The incident occurred in the area of Lopatcong and Harmony townships in Warren County on the New Jersey side of the river, the report said.

Lawrence’s body was found shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday, the report said.
