Budd Lake, NJ (October 21, 2017) Things are about to get spooktacular in the Mount Olive Recreation Department. Calling all boys and ghouls, mummies and daddies! We’re getting ready for a howling good time at the Flanders Pediatric Dentistry sponsored Monster Mash Dash & Glow Run/Walk on Saturday, October 21 in Turkey Brook Park
Beginning at 6:00pm, participants will run or walk 1.86 miles on the trails and pathways within Turkey Brook Park at twilight . We assure you, nothing will jump out at you along the way. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume – but please remember, this is a family event so let’s keep the costumes from being too gruesome. Registration opens at 5:00pm , while waiting for the race to begin take a Free Hayride to the pumpkin patch , each child will receive a pumpkin. Once everyone is back the event field we’ll continue the fun with a trick-or-treating activity, bonfire, food for purchase and Halloween themed music from our favorite DJLV3, at 8pm join Theater Dance troop , The Shining Stars for a rendition of “Thriller Dance” (want to learn the dance for free? Registration(https://www.runreg.com/monster-mash-dash-3k-glow-run) is $10 per person before October 13 and $20 per person on site the day of the event. Kids under the age of 5 years are Free.
