Multiple Road, School Closures In Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ— As wind gusts reach 50 miles per hour, fallen trees are disrupting the morning in Hackettstown.

Willow Grove Street was closed between Cindy Terrance and Connie Terrace due to down telephone wires. Power was knocked out in area homes, but as of 11:40 a.m. is almost fully restored.

Willow Grove School is closed as a result of the outage, but classes are not cancelled. All Willow Grove student should report to Hatchery Hill School today.

Cook Street is closed between Ashley Ave and East Plane Street because of downed trees and wires.
