NJ Woman Killed After ATV Flips Into Pond, Police Say

Responders attempted to perform CPR on the woman after pulling her from the water.

WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A woman has died following an all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) crash this weekend in Warren County, police said.

On Saturday, around 7:15 p.m, police in Washington Township were called to Morris Canal Trail on reports of an accident.

Authorities learned that a 63-year-old woman was riding an ATV when it veered off the roadway, overturned, and flipped into a pond, police said.

First responders pulled the woman from the water and attempted chest compressions, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

The incident is still under investigation. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the woman.
